Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. The name was given to her by her parents in honor of the town in which she grew in. Michel Horowitz was her father as well as Cynthia Palmer, his mother was both an author and editors. Ryder's father was from the Jewish family Ryder considers herself Jewish. Uria is Ryder's younger sister. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are the half siblings of Ryder. Ryder's parents relocated her and her siblings to Mendocino County California when Ryder turned seven. They didn't have electricity. Ryder became an avid book reader because there was no TV. Ryder was 12 when she took up a place at the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in the year 1983. Ryder landed her first film role on the big screen in 1986, when she was 15 years young. Ryder was bullied throughout high school. Ryder believed that if she became an actor, her behavior would be changed. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. However, she was determined to pursue her goals. Her breakthrough was in 1988 when she appeared in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued playing roles that were successful in a variety of films. There were two Academy Awards were nominated, one for The Age of Innocence (1996).
