Reese Witherspoon seriously pursued her acting profession after she enrolled at Stanford University. Early successes in the field of critical success included parts in movies like Pleasantville and Election however it was her role as Elle Woods in the box office smash Legally Blonde that marked a turning point in her professional career. Witherspoon was awarded the Academy Award in the year 2005 for her role in Walk the Line. In 2003 she debuted as a film star as a lead actress in The Invisible Man. In the following years, she has appeared on a variety of TV shows like House of Lies Whitney or Better Call Saul. Alongside her acting career as a performer, she's appeared in films such as The Dictator or The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. In addition to her work as an actress, Sheila is also an accomplished artist. She has displayed her artwork in a variety of galleries.
